Private Residence in Nailsea
When Sue Bartle bought her bungalow in Nailsea in September 2017 it was a real project. There was a lot of work to be done - from overhauling heating and lighting systems to replacing doors and fireplaces and decorating throughout - and she asked our director Dan to project manage the work.
“I heard about Dan by word of mouth, which I think is always best,” she says. “He’d been doing some work for a friend of my daughter, who recommended him highly.”
As well as coordinating and overseeing all of the trades who were involved in the project, Dan completed a number of joinery jobs. This included boxing in pipework to making two utility cupboards. He also fitted the new kitchen and replaced skirtings throughout the house. And we pre-finished all of the new internal doors prior to installation.
“The cupboards are beautiful and the boxing is very neat,” says Sue. “Dan is a very, very good carpenter and he did a great job as a project manager too. He took a lot of trouble over the work he did.”
Reliable customer service
Sue told us that she felt she was able to rely on Dan and the rest of the team to always do a good job and provide reliable customer service.
“If there was a problem it was Dan who I contacted,” she says. “He would always respond to a contact and kept me informed of what was happening. Because I was widowed last year it was important to me to have someone reliable.
“He was always happy to answer any questions too; I never got the impression I was too much trouble. If I ever needed any carpentry work doing in the future, I would definitely ask Dan before I asked anyone
