Daniel Sweet

Dan founded Sweet Joinery in 2018, having already managed the workshop on behalf of a larger construction company. Having spent over 20 years developing his skills, Dan is a talented joiner as well as a highly effective project manager. Dan is not afraid to take on a challenge in a new environment, and as such has enabled Sweet Joinery to build an excellent reputation for bespoke projects among both domestic and commercial clients spanning the education, transport and retail sectors. Dan’s busy schedule takes him out and about most days, but he always makes time to be in the workshop as much as possible so that he continues to contribute directly to the manufacturing process and to ensure the team are fully supported in their roles. Dan is a keen cyclist and gets out on his bike whenever he can, living in an ideal area with the Mendips on his doorstep. At home he is happily outnumbered by wife Jo, daughter Molly and cats Daisy and Willow.

Mike Seager

Mike was brought on board as Sweet Joinery’s new Workshop Manager in September 2018. With over 30 years of experience, Mike is one of the most knowledgeable joiners in the industry. A few things may have changed since he first started out on a 5-year furniture apprenticeship, but Mike has continuously developed his expertise through running his own business for many years where he specialized in bespoke installations. Mike really enjoys meeting new people and dealing with all aspects of a project from start to finish. The only thing he might change if he had the chance would be the early starts, and he’s not alone there! In his free time, Mike can usually be found riding his motorbike, walking his dogs and eating out with friends.

Warren Sealey

Warren is one of the longest standing members of the team, having originally joined Sweet Joinery’s sister company back in 2009. With over 20 years of experience, Warren is a highly-skilled joiner who developed his knowledge the traditional way, on the tools, and has gone on to contribute to a variety of projects for commercial and domestic clients. Warren particularly enjoys operating the larger machines such as the CNC router and spindle moulder. Like some of his colleagues, Warren wouldn’t always choose the early starts but has a wide range of personal interests to make up for this including painting, playing guitar and reading.

Harry Jennings

Harry is a qualified joiner with 3 years of experience and huge passion and energy for his work. He joined the workshop team in 2016 when they were part of Sweet Joinery’s sister company and has never looked back! He loves working with his hands, meeting all types of people and overcoming different challenges every day. If he could, Harry would make the sun shine every day as he’s not a fan of the cold winters. Harry’s interests outside of work include sports, television and food.

Jack Charman

Jack is responsible for the high-quality spray-painting service that we can provide as an addition to the joinery workshop from the well-equipped spray booth. Jack has NVQ qualification and 5 years of experience having joined the team in 2013. Jack enjoys being the master of his own domain and takes pride in finishing off the joinery products to a high standard. The only thing he doesn’t enjoy is getting paint off his hands. Jack is a rugby fan.

Jessica Garner

Jessica takes care of the business operations side of Sweet Joinery on a part-time basis and enjoys learning about a new industry after coming from a career in secondary school teaching. In her spare time Jessica is busy with her young son, as well as tutoring Spanish and volunteering in a care home.
